I think the rest of the buildings should follow suit. This is the best way of getting up to date info out to parents and the community. It is simple, easy, and quick. I know there are parents that don't have computer access at home, but maybe that's another issue we need to address. Do we know how many kids do not have computer access in their homes? If not, we might want to figure that out. Many teachers, especially at the high school, just assume and expect that kids have access outside of school.

left the district and there is now an opening for the principal ship at GD? What is up with that and how is it getting resolved?
Yes, Paul recently notified the district that he has accepted a position as the middle school principal in DeForest. The district has posted an opening for an Assistant Principal position at the Glacial Drumlin School.
By all accounts Paul did a fine job as the Winnequah Assistant Principal and I wish him well in his new job!
So are we moving from a co-principalship to a main principal (tennant) and an assistant? And while we are on the subject, is Ann Schroeder still the main principal of Maywood (50%) and Deb Lyons is her assistant or is Deb the principal?
The MGSD website needs to be more proactive about reporting on this stuff.
In an frankness, if the co-principal was a good idea before why isn't a good now?
