Listening Session

Don't forget the "Ad Hoc Grade Configuration Committee" listening session to be held at 6pm tonight at Glacial Drumlin school. The committee wishes to gather input on its work and the various proposed options, which can be found summarized in the powerpoint presentation available on the district website.

thanks for the reminder. I hope people can be civil. I was reading comments under the WSJ online article about this meeting. U-G-L-Y. We all want what is best for our communities and children...

board member, Jason McCutchin, has a decent recap on his blog regarding last nights meeting. I find it interesting that many spoke out in favor of K-8 in both communities.

sorry-I read Jason's blog and came a way with a different impression-and thought Peter's recap was just as good.

watched the meeting-I think we should thank our lucky stars for a super-who stands up in front of people and address their questions directly, kindly and with the respect-ya got to respect the guy.

In years past-we would have had citizens asking questions and making assumptions and shouts with no one answering your questions except board members looking angry.

I agree. WE are lucky to have Craig.

That meeting could have gotten out of hand...and it was not. Kudos to the public and Craig
