is how I would describe tonights board meeting. We start with a long closed session followed by a light agenda in the public portion. Craig will give updates on the upcoming election, the preliminary budget for 2008-9 and the Ad Hoc grade committee activities.
The only action items are under the Business Services agenda and relate to the Annual meeting date and the budget calendar.

How many snow days are build in the calendar?
I think it is 4.
Well, this closing for the cold was stupid for high school students. Every high school kid I know was out and about yesterday. I can understand it for the little ones, but high school kids, no. Finals are next week. How is the staff going to handle this?
they pushed finals back to start on Thursday. That way each class will meet one more time before the final exam.
Peter-who thoughtof the APril calednar? By my caculations students are never in class for a whole week?
It looks like a great place to make up a snow day.
